These pieces were made to be sold at auction for the 2019 MLB All-Star Weekend in Cleveland, Ohio, the home of rock n’ roll. The matching guitar and bat were done in collaboration with Fender Guitars and Louisville Slugger. Specifically, each of the articles featured on the pieces depicts a moment in the team’s history. The headlines date back as far as the early 1960s when the team was originally founded in Los Angeles. They each have a hand-painted Angels logo on top of the articles and distressed red wood. All proceeds from this event went to charity.

These photos were all captured in Tanzania and Kenya across a two week period. Shot primarily using telephoto lenses, the images allowed me to get a closer look at these fascinating animals.
